Brief comment: Why there is no contradiction in simultaneously being xenophilic and religiophobic

Being against religious people, or people of some specific religion is one thing.
Yet it is very much necessary to differentiate this kind of attitude from general xenophobia.
Though widely believed and recognized, these two concepts in their pure form are completely different and in no way to be compared in terms of morality.
As argued in "Die Geißeln der Menschheit" (https://savemybluths.blogger.de/stories/2615555 ; only in German I'm afraid), religion is the concept of institutionalized faith inevitably leading to exclusion and emphasis of more or less random features systematically differentiating the religious in-group from all others. This, in almost every case known, conditions suppression of minorities including full-scale xenophobia. Therefore, religion is fascism and needs to be dealt with accordingly. Plus having a religion is a subjective choice, not an objective characteristic.
So being religiophobic is a progressive view, that stands for human rights, basic liberties and the social development of an improvement-oriented society.
Meanwhile being xenophobic means the deployment of misguided hatred based on objective characteristics. There is no point in being xenophobic other than being an awful person.
Understanding these differences let's one realize that being religiophobic is actually a pretty related concept to being xenophilic.
As for a more applicable and current context. There simply is no problem in not wanting one single Muslim refugee in one's own sphere of life. However, this is only true as long as two important restrictions are met:
1) This rejection is not motivated by one's own religion
and
2) One does not oppose non-religious refugees, independent of other objective characteristics
This differentiation is important as at present it is not commonly adopted in any discussion. However, it is actually the core of the problem. What a pity those who should do not notice or care and leave the field to xenophobic fascist parties and their leading demagogues.
Happy winter solstice to you all.
